University Print Server Upgrade - Downtime Notification 10/15/19 – 7PM to 9PM

Please be advised that ITS will be migrating all existing network print queues to a new server software version. The update will take place on Tuesday 10/15/19, starting at 7pm. Printing capability to Canon copiers will not be available for approximately two hours. This upgrade will be seamless to our users as there is no change to your PC, or with how you print.

What is happening?

ITS will be bring the Hermes64 Print Server offline and begin moving print queues to the new software.

When is it scheduled for?

The scheduled downtime for this upgrade is 10/15/19 – 7PM to 9PM

 How long will it take? any down time?

Estimate – Approximately 2 hour down time, after which normal printing will be available.
