Fresh Check Day- ONE WEEK AWAY

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join us for Fresh Check Day on Wednesday, February 7 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the Oak/Dogwood Rooms

Fresh Check Day is an uplifting mental health promotion and suicide prevention event for colleges that includes interactive expo booths, peer-to-peer messaging, support of multiple campus departments and groups, and exciting prizes and giveaways. Fresh Check Day aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health and helps to build a bridge between the campus community and the mental health resources available on campus, in the community, and nationally.

 Activities include but are not limited to:

-Mental health screenings

-Pet therapy

-Narcan training

-Community service activity

-Trivia

-Instructor-led stretching

-Giveaways and raffles*

-Learning about suicide preventative and other mental health topics

*Student raffle prizes include a Here for You package, FUSA Concert ticket, Clam Jam ticket (juniors and seniors eligible), and free Senior Week event (seniors eligible).
