Academic Writing for Publication

Want to make the most of limited research and writing time during the semester? Join us on Friday, January 18 from 9am-4pm for this Writing for Publication workshop, led by Dr. Mary Jane Curry (University of Rochester), an expert on academic writing for publication.
This workshop will cover publishing strategies such as Target Journal Evaluation; developing and participating in Academic Research Networks; and understanding and responding to reviewer feedback. Bring a project you’d like to work on (any stage welcome). Dr. Curry is co-editor of Global Academic Publishing: Policies, Perspectives, and Pedagogies and series editor of Multilingual Matters (Channel View Publications).
