To Staff and Administrators:

There will be 5 interactive sessions that are 30-minutes each. These trainings will take place in the ITS Training room located in the lower level of Dolan Hall. There are no sign ups required, so employees can attend a session that works best for their schedule.

Sessions

9:00am-9:30am

9:30am-10am

10:00am-10:30am

11am-11:30am

11:30am-12pm

Beginning on August 15 and continuing through mid-October, we will be rolling out the first generation of Workday performance management. In this very basic application, employees will be able to establish goals in the system, select supporting competencies, and submit them for leadership review and approval. At the end of the year, additional communications and training will be provided to support the assessment process and final scoring of the performance appraisal.

To get started, you should meet with your manager in the coming weeks to agree on goals for the coming year — we require a minimum of three and suggest no more than 5 — trying to identify impactful goals of a more strategic nature. As part of the new process, every employee is assigned four core competencies: Honesty / Integrity, Valuing Diversity, Customer Service, and Team Player. In addition, employees will choose other optional competencies that align with their goals for the year.
