Subject: Wellness Lunch for Faculty and Staff with Disabilities, Neurodivergence, and Supportive Allies

In keeping with Fairfield University’s mission to “…[celebrate] the God-given dignity of every human person…”, and the Jesuit tradition of cura personalis, the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging, in association with Human Resources, is hosting a wellness lunch for faculty and staff with disabilities, neurodivergence, and supportive allies. Please join us on Monday, March 18th from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM in Canisius Hall Room 200. The purpose of this gathering will be to offer community to one another, advocate for our needs on campus, help students who may struggle with the same conditions, and help our campus community better understand and interact with students and colleagues with disabilities or neurodivergence.

This event is open to Fairfield University faculty and staff with disabilities or neurodivergence (autism spectrum, ADHD, Down syndrome, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, dyspraxia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, PTSD, CPTSD, and other conditions), and allies.
