This webinar is the third in a series on Catholicism and Gender, a series that is a joint project between the Center for Catholic Studies and Commonweal magazine,“Commonweal in Conversation.”  On Wednesday, April 3 at 5:00 pm, we will feature a presentation by Craig A. Ford, Jr., titled “Queer Bodies, Queer God.”


Craig A. Ford, Jr., Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at Saint Norbert College, teaches courses in ethics, race, gender and sexuality and the theology of the Catholic Church.His research on the intersection of queer theory, critical race theory and the Catholic moral tradition asks new questions – or, perhaps, old questions in a new day – about the Catholic understanding of the human person, raising up the voices and perspectives of queer Catholic theologians of color.
