"WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE WORLD?"

BRICS! A NEW WORLD ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL ORDER UNDERWAY?


This panel discussion will feature experts from Fairfield University who specialize in area studies such as the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. They will share their thoughts and provide updates on the economy, politics, and international relations between the Bretton Woods organizations and the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and
South Africa) of the Global South. How are these countries impacting the politics, economic and financial orders of the world? COME FIND OUT! 

This one-hour-long conversation is aimed at enhancing the understanding and knowledge of faculty and students. Featured panelists are Prof. Katy Nantz, Economics, 
Prof. & Chair William Vasquez, Economics and Associate Prof. Helena Glebocki Keefe, Economics & International Business.
