2020 Benefits Open Enrollment
To: All Benefit Eligible Faculty and Staff of Fairfield University
2020 Open Enrollment will be in effect from November 11th through November 22nd and will be completed in Workday. The Open Enrollment period is the time each year that benefit-eligible employees may amend their insurance plan selections based upon their personal needs and anticipated healthcare expenses for the coming year. All new elections will take effect on January 1, 2020. Open Enrollment letters will be mailed home in the next several days with more detailed information.
Employees who are not making changes to their choice of plan, or adding or deleting dependents, do not have to take any action. However, please note that the Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Dependent Care Account contributions must be renewed annually, or no funds will be contributed through payroll deduction.
All benefit changes must be entered through the self-service module in Workday. The Open Enrollment task will be in your Workday Inbox starting on November 11th. Employees who are not making changes during Open Enrollment, do not have to take any action, and the Open Enrollment task will disappear from your Workday Inbox once Open Enrollment has been finalized on November 27th.
