Date: 11-08-2019

Time: 09:00 AM

Location: Alumni House

November 8th Fairfield University will celebrate First Generation Students, Faculty, and Staff!  First-generation college students are increasing rapidly within institutions of higher education. According to the US Department of Education, 33 percent of higher education students today are the first in their family to attend college. For the majority of these students this creates challenges and potential barriers to success. The Breakfast Club, under the direction of the Office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, is inviting you to engage in a conversation in celebration of first-generation students.  Join us on November 8th at 9am in the Alumni House. For more information contact Yolehema Felican, Associate Director of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs.
