The Center for Climate, Coastal and Marine Studies will host a seminar with speaker Dr. Claudia Diezmartínez, Policy and Equity Advisor to the City of Boston Environmental Department.

Climate Action, Finance, and Justice in Cities: Elevating Municipal Finance as a Site of Climate Politics

During this seminar Dr. Diezmartinez will examine how climate finance impacts, and is impacted by, the pursuit of urban climate action and climate justice. She will explain how municipal financial decisions and budgetary policies are shaping the response of US cities to climate change.
