Stags Share Stories: Conversations that Connect Us - 11/20 - DEI event

Date: 11-20-2024

Location: DiMenna-Nyselius Library (and online)

The Library & SDMA invite you for the Fairfield tradition, Stags Share Stories: Conversations That Connect Us on Wednesday, November 20th.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend to speak with one of our "Storytellers". Storytellers are your fellow students, faculty, staff sharing their life experiences related to topics that touch on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, mental health, disability, etc.

View our Catalog of Storytellers via the links below. There is also FYE DEI credit available for first-years.

New addition to the event: Attendees will also have the option to share their own story. We will have a faculty member from Egan, who is a trained “Listener Poet” through The Good Listening Project, to hold space for others to feel heard and understood through one-on-one exchange with a poem created for the individual.
