Gearing Up for Workday Student Go-Live in 2025
Date: 03-03-2025
Dear University Community,
As 2025 commences, we want to begin by expressing gratitude for all the hard work and dedication that so many at Fairfield have already exhibited on the Workday Student implementation journey. So much has been achieved to get us to this point, where everyone in the community can now begin learning about and participating in Workday Student. This transformative system will enhance the way we manage student data, streamline processes, and improve the overall experience for students, faculty, and staff. Banner will remain in place supporting Spring and Summer operations while Fall 2025 semester activities will continue to shift to Workday. Workday Student is set to go live in March 2025, and each of you will be an integral and welcomed part of this launch!
To prepare for this pivotal change, we have begun a series of training sessions and engagement opportunities; visit the Workday Student Project Sharepoint site for the training schedule.
- Comprehensive Training: Hands-on sessions tailored to different user groups, including faculty, staff, and administrators. Training will cover key functionalities and best practices for using Workday Student. Of course, there will also be training and engagement sessions for the students.
- Engagement Opportunities: Interactive workshops, Q&A sessions, and open forums where you can ask questions, share feedback, and gain a deeper understanding of the system.
- Resources: Access to guides, video tutorials, and a dedicated support team to assist you throughout the transition.
As you prepare your calendars for the spring semester, please keep these upcoming sessions in mind. Additional details, including the training schedule and resources, will be shared soon.
Thank you for your commitment to our University and its mission. Wishing you a wonderful start to 2025!
