Updates to University Vehicle Reservations

We are pleased to announce that the Campus Ministry vehicles have now been merged with Conference & Event Management (CEM) vehicles. This consolidation streamlines the reservation process and enhances the availability of vehicles for University use.

Vehicle Reservations

Reservations for Campus Ministry and CEM University vehicles can now be made through the EMS system, accessible via my.Fairfield.

  • Navigate to my.Fairfield > EMS Tutorials and Training > Office of Conference & Events > Booking University Vehicles for step-by-step guidance.
  • Reservation Deadline: Please submit your request in EMS by 12 PM at least three (3) business days prior to your trip.
  • Keys can be picked up from the key cabinet in Jogues.

Important Guidelines

  • University Use Only: These vehicles are reserved exclusively for University-related purposes.
  • Request Submission: Only faculty, staff, or authorized organization officers may complete the reservation request form in EMS.
  • Driver Requirements:
    • All drivers must be employees of Fairfield University or Fairfield Prep.
    • Drivers must be approved and hold a valid StagCard.

For Student Drivers

Students must become approved drivers before submitting an EMS request. To do so:

  1. Complete the Driver's Authorization Form/Authorization for Motor Vehicle Record Check.
  2. Email the completed form and a copy of your driver’s license to Transportation@fairfield.edu.
  3. CC the Department Head of the applicable University/organization in your email.
