Student Leadership Recognition Award Nominations!

Date: 04-15-2025

Time: 08:00 PM

Location: Quick Center

We are looking for faculty and staff to nominate students for our five Jesuit Awards at the 15th Annual Student Leadership Recognition Ceremony, held Tuesday, April 15th, at 8pm in the Quick Center.
Every year, we gather to honor the best of our campus community at the annual Student Leadership Recognition Ceremony.  At Fairfield University, our understanding of leadership is grounded in the traditional Jesuit teachings of leadership. The Jesuits believe that:
  • “We’re all leaders, and we’re leading all the time, well or poorly.”
  • “Leadership springs from within.  It’s about who I am as much as what I do.”
  • “Leadership is not an act.  It is my life, a way of living.”
  • “I never complete the task of becoming a leader.  It’s an ongoing process.”
As such, we have come up with five awards (description below) that we believe, individually and collectively, embody what Fairfield University stands for.  Please take the time to fill out the nomination form in the Leadership Portal on Life@Fairfield and in the link posted below. Multiple submissions are allowed per student and faculty/staff member nominating. Submissions are due end of day on March 7th.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Stephanie Rodgers at stephanie.rodgers@fairfield.edu.
