CAE & Library Book Club for Faculty & Staff - 3/4 meeting
Date: 03-04-2025
Time: 02:00 PM
Location: DiMenna-Nyselius Library, Innovation Lab (back classroom)
Feeling bold? Maybe even a little rebellious? The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) and DiMenna–Nyselius Library invite faculty and staff to the second meeting of our Spring 2025 Book Club, where we'll dive into Whatever It Is, I'm Against It: Resistance to Change in Higher Education by former Macalester College President Brian C. Rosenberg. This lively and thought-provoking read explores the ways we (successfully and unsuccessfully) resist change in academia.
The book club will meet three times this semester, with this second meeting taking place on Tuesday, March 4, from 2:00-3:00 pm. The discussions will take place in the CAS Frederickson Family Innovation Lab, off the lobby of the DiMenna-Nyselius Library. Refreshments will be served at each meeting, and we encourage any interested faculty and staff to join us for what promises to be some truly lively discussions. No registration required to attend.
The Library has acquired an unlimited digital license for the book, which can be read online or downloaded to your phone or iPad from the following link: https://fairfield.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink/01FUNI_INST/1n3mdil/cdi_eric_primary_ED630196
