Collegium, Summer 2025 | Faculty Experience | Fully Funded

Every summer, Collegium: A Colloquy on Faith and the Intellectual Life, gathers full-time faculty from across the US for a week of conversation, conviviality, small group discussion and time for reflection on the topic of the Catholic intellectual life and spirituality as this is lived by faculty members at a variety of Catholic Colleges and Universities.  (On the link, click on “The Annual Colloquy” on the list at the top left.)

Fairfield faculty have attended this for over twenty-five years. Would you like to be our representative this summer (yes, we can send two if there’s interest)?  The week-long event (sort of a thinking retreat?) will be held this year on the beautiful campus of Saint John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, among pine trees and lakes, from June 6-13, 2025. You need to be able to attend the entire session.  Your lodging, food and travel are all funded by this program.

This is a wonderful way to get to know faculty at other institutions, and to take a breath during a busy and sometime stressful time in academia.  If you are interested in attending, please send me an email, I can put you in touch with Fairfield faculty who have recently attended this program.
