Can you help?

The Theatre Program needs your help: we need an audience for our upcoming production of Steel Magnolias. It's simple: plays don't work without audience members. Our student actors and crew are doing lovely work, and our theatre professionals are bringing their A-games. All we need is you.

Can you please encourage students, friends, and colleagues to attend this charming play? This is one not to be missed. 

What's it about?

You might remember the popular film of Steel Magnolias, with an all-star cast including Julia Roberts, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, and Sally Field. Yeah, it's that story.

At its core, Steel Magnolias celebrates the unbreakable relationships of women lifting up one another – what could be better than that? You can expect to marvel in both the emotional depth of the story and the power of humor, which ultimately connects us all together. 

In today's divided times, where fear and hate seem to be winning, this play is a true balm.
