· tips for developing a successful program
· health and safety measures
· the process of launching a program
· what "personal style” is best for being a Faculty Leader

Risk and Safety Training for Group Leaders

· All first-time Faculty Leaders must attend the Risk Management Training Workshop hosted by Global Fairfield and Public Safety prior to program start date. Workshop dates can be found on the CEA WIKI Page.
What I Need to Know about Developing a Faculty-led Program Abroad in a Non-Traditional Location
Workshop Date: January
Because not all faculty who have presented interest in offering a faculty-led course in a non-traditional location were able to attend, we are offering another workshop in the spring semester to review:
- the timeline for designing a syllabus and submitting a course proposal
- challenges and tips for developing a successful program
- health and safety considerations and what measures are provided by the University
- the process of approvals for launching a program
- what "personal style" is best for being a Faculty Leader
Faculty Led Programs in Non Traditional Locations:
Workshop Date: May
This workshop is for faculty interested in offering a faculty-led course in a non-traditional location who have an existing and approved syllabus that you need assistance to transition it to a successful faculty-led offering. Similar to the October Workshop, this workshop will cover the following from the lens of a non traditional location:
· the timeline for submitting a course proposal
· tips for developing a successful program in a non traditional location
· health and safety measures
· the process of launching a program
· what "personal style” is best for being a Faculty Leader
All first-time faculty-led program faculty are required to have attended a “Developing a Faculty-Led Program Abroad” session
