Core Writing Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Institute 2025 [Workshop led by Dr. Rebecca Moore Howard]

Core Writing is pleased to announce an exciting professional development opportunity featuring renowned scholar Rebecca Moore Howard.

On Wednesday, May 14, Dr. Howard will lead a two-part workshop delivered entirely on Zoom. The workshop will run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with a one-hour break for lunch. The morning session will focus on complicating “patchwriting” in the age of AI (patchwriting was first introduced in Howard’s “A Plagiarism Pentimento”); the afternoon session will focus on writing rhetorically and ethically with AI tools. Participants will receive a $300 stipend, and space is limited.
