Early Move-In Available for Students of Fac/Staff

Residence Life is pleased to announce an early move-in/drop-off opportunity for Fairfield University employees' students on Thursday, August 28th, 2025. Students related to faculty and staff (Aramark and ABM colleagues included) must sign-up by Tuesday, August 26th to take advantage of this opportunity. We are unable to accommodate late requests or day of walk-ins.

To request to move to campus early, your student can complete the Early Arrival Request Form in their StarRez Student Portal. Here are instructions on how to access: https://app.tango.us/app/workflow/Request-Early-Arrival-in-StarRez-c78d3a9ba34146c0873706a564426393  In the field to include the reason why they are requesting to arrive early, your student should input “Student of Faculty/Staff Member ::Faculty/Staff Member’s First and Last Name::”

After the form is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Office of Residence Life. Once the request is approved, your student will be emailed detailed instructions regarding the check-in process for Thursday, August 28th, 2025. The typical fee for early arrivals will be automatically waived for employee's students. If you or your student has questions, please email residencelife@fairfield.edu. For families moving into Loyola Hall we anticipate the building to be ready for this early drop-off experience. If there are any changes, we will let your student know.

While you're thinking about move-in, we're still looking for staff and faculty volunteers to help us welcome (and welcome back) our Stag student community.
