International Student Corner From the Desk of Agnes Simon, Global Fairfield International Student and Visa Manager
As we prepare for the Fall 2025 semester, we’re excited to share a snapshot of the diverse and dynamic international students that make our campus community truly unique.
A Warm Welcome Awaits
This fall, we’re thrilled to welcome back 77 returning international students—46 undergraduates and 31 graduate students. Additionally, we’re excited to greet 36 new international degree-seeking students, including 19 undergraduates and 17 graduate students. Totaling our international degree seeking population to 113 for the fall semester. To assist them in getting acquainted and feeling at home, we have joined with Student Experience & Engagement to plan a full day of events and important information sharing during our Mandatory Global Orientation on Thursday, August 28th.
Our international student population represents a wide array of countries, including India, Turkey, Vietnam, Ireland, Brazil, Spain, Germany, and Nigeria, among others. This rich tapestry of cultures and backgrounds contributes to the vibrant and inclusive atmosphere of our campus.
Expanding Horizons
We are also pleased to announce our growing exchange student population for this semester. We will be hosting five exchange students from our esteemed partner institutions, including Sogang University in South Korea, Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and IQS School of Management in Madrid, Spain. These students will be with us for the semester, enriching our campus community with their diverse global perspectives.
We look forward to an exciting and enriching semester with all of you!
