Date: 09-16-2025
Time: 05:00 PM
Location: 1720 Post Road and Fairfield Theatre Company
This fall, Fairfield University’s Center for Social Impact along with co-sponsors Center for Arts and Minds and the Meditz College's Humanities Institute will host an Artolution exhibition that debuted at the United Nation Headquarters on World Refugee Day 2024. The exhibition showcases powerful artworks created by refugees around the world and highlights art’s unique role in healing, storytelling, and building community across borders.
We invite you to join us for the opening reception on September 16 at
Fairfield University’s 1720 Post Road campus, followed by a special event at Fairfield Theatre Company featuring Max Frieder, co-founder of Artolution, in conversation with University faculty and students. Together, they will explore the global refugee crisis and the powerful role of creative expression in telling stories, building empathy, and inspiring change.
A trolley will run between the main campus circle at North Benson to 1720 Post Rd on a 15-minute loop beginning at 4:30 p.m. through 6:15 p.m. and then return to campus after the event at approximately 8 p.m.
