Scanning Students Life@Fairfield Event Passes for Event Credit/Attendance
If you are scanning students into an event that you have posted to Life@Fairfield to capture the attendance of the event or to ensure students receive event credit (like FYE credit), please be sure you are scanning students into your event using their Life@Fairfield Event Pass.
To scan students into your event, go to the app store and download the "check in" app. The app will prompt you for an event code which can be found by clicking "manage event" then scrolling down until you see "event code" on your event's Life@fairfield page. Once the event code is in the app you can start scanning students in and their attendance will be automatically updated. Please be sure you open the check-in app and enter the event code BEFORE the event end time in Life@Fairfield so you can check students in. If you try to scan after the “event end time” in Life@Fairfield, the system will not work.
