Call for Humanities Institute Program Grant Proposals - Due 10/15/25

The Humanities Institute is pleased to announce that the next deadline for HI Program Grants is Wednesday, October 15^th. These grants are primarily for late fall and spring activities.

We accept applications supporting the humanities in two categories: 1) programming, events, and initiatives, or 2) individual faculty development or research. 

New Submission Process:

Faculty can now submit applications through the new Humanities Institute SharePoint, accessible via the Meditz Faculty & Staff Portal under CAS Funding Sources/ Humanities Institute Grants. A direct link is also available here: https://fairfield0.sharepoint.com/sites/HumanitiesInstitute2. All materials, including the updated Call for Proposals, Budget Planning Guidelines documents, and application forms, can be found by clicking the Program Grants button.

Please note that:

• Julie Garbarino is the primary liaison to the faculty on Humanities Institute proposals and funded projects. Please contact her at jgarbarino@fairfield.edu with any questions. 

• Program Grant proposals will not be considered outside of the October 15^th deadline.
