The University Career Center is hosting a variety of career fairs for students of all class years and majors this upcoming academic year. These networking events are a convenient and effective way for students to learn firsthand about career paths and connect with organizations that are hiring for full-time jobs and internship opportunities. 

Career & Internship Fair               Wed., Oct. 8 from 12-3 p.m. in the RecPlex
Law School Fair                            Thurs., Oct. 16 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the BCC Oak Room
Nursing Career Fair                       Tue., Oct. 21 from 2-4 p.m. in the BCC Oak Room

Preparing for the Fairs
Please encourage students to attend and to take advantage of the many resources offered by Fairfield’s career centers to ensure they have a valuable experience at the fair.

Stags4Hire: Students should create a complete profile on Handshake and download the app. Students can log in to Handshake or the app at any time to see the list of registered employers.

Career Counselors: Students can contact their school's career center to set up a meeting with a career counselor to discuss career plans, develop a resume, and learn effective networking tips.

Career Peer Advisors:  Students can also drop in to meet with trained student career advisors for help with Stags4Hire, LinkedIn, resumes, and more. The full CPA schedule is on Life@fairfield.

Career Closet: The Career Closet is available to students looking for professional attire for the fair, interviews, and networking events. Students can schedule an appointment at careers@fairfield.edu.

Resume Printing & LinkedIn Photos: Students can stop by the Career Center in the Kelley Center to print copies of their resumes and get a new or updated LinkedIn photo.
