Fairfield Prison Education and Reentry Initiative
Greetings, colleagues.
We are launching a new initiative in partnership with the Jesuit Prison Education Network.
This effort stems directly from our mission to support those who are marginalized. People with incarceration histories often face some of the most significant barriers in our communities. Fairfield has the opportunity to meet some of their needs through education, mentoring, and support.
Our initiative will center on reentry support and education, offering opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to participate. This may involve teaching in correctional facilities, mentoring individuals as they reintegrate into society, partnering with community organizations, and conducting research.
If you are interested in learning more, please join us for an information session:
Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11 am
Dolan Event Space – Dolan School of Business
Together, we can continue to make Fairfield a place where education and community extend beyond our campuses.
Thank you,
