Gender and Catholicism: Possibilities and Challenges for Catholic Theology

As part of the celebration of the 25^th Annual Anne Drummey O’Callaghan Lecture on Women in the Church, Catholic Studies is sponsoring a 4:30 pm panel discussion on Wednesday, October 8^th (Dolan School of Business Event Hall), featuring the voices of four newer theologians:  Professors Brianne Jacobs (Emmanuel College), Jaisy Joseph (Villanova University), Mary Kate Holman (Fairfield University) and Chanelle Robinson (Holy Cross University).

At this in-person-only event, these theologians will unpack some of their newest work, addressing challenging issues around gender, sex and sexuality as these emerge from and critique the Catholic theological tradition.
