Gender and Catholicism: Possibilities and Challenges for Catholic Theology
Date: 10-08-2025
Time: 04:30 PM
Location: Dolan School of Business Event Hall
As part of the celebration of the 25th Annual Anne Drummey O’Callaghan Lecture on Women in the Church, Catholic Studies is sponsoring a 4:30 pm panel discussion on Wednesday, October 8th (Dolan School of Business Event Hall), featuring the voices of four newer theologians: Professors Brianne Jacobs (Emmanuel College), Jaisy Joseph (Villanova University), Mary Kate Holman (Fairfield University) and Chanelle Robinson (Holy Cross University).
At this in-person-only event, these theologians will unpack some of their newest work, addressing challenging issues around gender, sex and sexuality as these emerge from and critique the Catholic theological tradition.
Please join us for this event on Wednesday, October 8th at 4:30 pm in the Dolan School of Business Event Hall, and for the live-streamed lecture by Heidi Schlumpf at 7 pm that evening (see link below for registration for the 7 pm lecture).
