Banned Together: Documentary Screening for Banned Books Week
Mon. 10/6, 5:30-7:30pm, Library auditorium
This film follows three students as they fight to reinstate books suddenly pulled from their school libraries. As they evolve from local to national activists, they meet with banned authors, politicians, and the major players protecting the First Amendment of our Constitution. 90 minute film and optional post-event discussion.
Event held during national Banned Books Week® and presented by the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, the CAS Politics Department, and the Connecticut Writing Project at Fairfield University.
