Walter Rankin & Tolonda Henderson to Present on 10/22

The DiMenna-Nyselius Library's Scholars in Focus series, provides a glimpse into the exciting work happening across the University, with two faculty or staff members discussing their research for 15 minutes each, followed by Q&A. 

The October 22nd (9:30-10:30am, Library, rm 114) event will feature:


  • Walter Rankin, PhD, Vice Provost for Graduate, Professional, and Continuing Studies & Professor of German, presenting "From Final Girls to Femme Fatales: The Enduring Legacy of Halloween, Scream, Terminator, & Nightmare on Elm Street." 
  • Tolonda Henderson, MLIS, PhD candidate, Associate Teaching & Learning Coordinator, DiMenna-Nyselius Library, presenting "Representations of Blackness and Disability in Contemporary Young Adult Literature."
