Action Required:

On-Campus Users: Please leave your system powered over the (10/9 -10/17) to receive the update.
Remote Users: Please leave system on, connected to a power source, and ensure you are connected to the VPN during the upgrade window.
Before the Upgrade: Save and back up all important files to Dropbox or OneDrive.

Key Information:

The upgrade will take approximately 30–120 minutes and will require a system reboot.
Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or patches, which could pose a security risk to the university
