Location: NYS 106A and online (link here)

Audience/Participants - First-time faculty, participants who attended a workshop previously, and faculty working on a syllabus

Global Fairfield invites faculty interested in leading a faculty-led program abroad to join the upcoming session Developing a Faculty Led Program Abroad: From Conception to the Final Syllabus which will be led by Global Fairfield’s Associate Director, Patricia Pivarnik and Dr. Alfred Babo. Faculty Liaison to Global Fairfield, who has experience in leading faculty led programs abroad.

A faculty-led program abroad is a terrific way to take your course “on the road,” using the location to enhance learning. This interactive workshop will review:

  • the timeline for submitting a course proposal
  • tips for developing a successful program
  • health and safety measures
  • the process of launching a program
  • what "personal style” is best for being a Faculty Leader

First-time faculty as well as those who have attended a workshop previously and are in the syllabus creation stage are welcome to attend. Bring your questions! Please RSVP - mailto:ppivarnik@fairfield.edu
