Audience/Participants - First-time faculty, participants who attended a workshop previously, and faculty working on a syllabus
Global Fairfield invites faculty interested in leading a faculty-led program abroad to join the upcoming session Developing a Faculty Led Program Abroad: From Conception to the Final Syllabus which will be led by Global Fairfield’s Associate Director, Patricia Pivarnik and Dr. Alfred Babo. Faculty Liaison to Global Fairfield, who has experience in leading faculty led programs abroad.
A faculty-led program abroad is a terrific way to take your course “on the road,” using the location to enhance learning. This interactive workshop will review:
- the timeline for submitting a course proposal
- tips for developing a successful program
- health and safety measures
- the process of launching a program
- what "personal style” is best for being a Faculty Leader
