The Information State: Politics in the Age of Total Control
Date: 03-05-2026
Time: 04:00 PM
Location: Dogwood Room, BCC
Author and journalist Jacob Siegel will be on campus discussing his new book, The Information State: Politics in the Age of Total Control. The book offers an incisive discussion of how technologies that are supposed to ensure a free and open exchange of ideas have become, instead, weapons used to control and censor ideas.
The event is sponsored by the Meditz College of Arts & Sciences and the Humanities Institute.
The talk is this Thursday, March 5th, at 4:00pm in the Dogwood Room of BCC. Food and refreshments will be served, and the first 40 faculty in attendance will receive a copy of the book.
