Women Who Move the World, 3/11 Luncheon

Date: 03-11-2026

Time: 12:00 PM

Location: BCC Dogwood

You are invited to join us for Fairfield University’s 2026 Women’s History Month Signature Event:

Women Who Move the World: Leadership, Legacy, and the Call to Serve.

This special gathering honors women whose leadership reflects the Jesuit commitment to justice, service, and cura personalis. Through reflection and dialogue, we will explore how advocacy, accountability, and action shape a more just and inclusive world.

We are honored to welcome:

Dr. Gislaine Ngounou, a visionary education and philanthropic leader currently serving as the Executive Director of the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund. With more than 20 years of experience across philanthropy, nonprofits, and school districts, her work advances racial justice, youth empowerment, and systemic change.

Dr. Vanessa Liles serves as Co-Project Director at PT Partners, a Bridgeport-based community organization where she works alongside public housing residents to dismantle oppressive systems and build grassroots power.

Following the keynote and panelist questions, faculty and staff will engage in a guided discussion connecting the speakers’ insights to Fairfield’s Jesuit mission and our collective responsibility to lead with purpose, equity, and care.
