Important Update to ABS Flexible Spending/Dependent Care/Commuter Accounts

Advanced Benefit Strategies (ABS) is excited to share an important update about your participant account for pre-tax benefits including Flexible Spending Accounts, Dependent Care Accounts, and Commuter Transit and Parking Accounts.

To improve your experience managing your benefits, ABS is transitioning to a new, easier-to-use and more robust platform powered by Elevate. This update is designed to provide you with faster processing, improved tools, and a better overall experience managing your benefits here at ABS.


Transition Timeline


  • Transition Begins: March 9, 2026– Your existing participant account on the WEX platform will begin a transition to your new Elevate platform. You can use your current debit card until Sunday March 8, 2026.
  • Transition Complete: March 13, 2026 – Your new participant account on the Elevate platform will be fully established and ready for use.


What to Expect


  1. Your current participant account on the WEX platform will be closed as part of the transition.
  2. Your enrollment information will be securely migrated to the new Elevate system.
  3. Once your participant account is created, you will receive a welcome email with instructions to access your account.
  4. After consumer data is loaded into the system, a new debit card will be generated and mailed to you.
  5. You will receive one debit card, you can add dependents and order dependent cards at no cost on the Consumer Portal
  6. Your account will have limited access until you receive and verify your new debit card.







Accessing Your Funds


  • Participant funds will be transferred to the new platform after accounts are created.
  • Once the transfer is complete, you will have full access to your funds. Any claims you incur during the quiet period are eligible for reimbursement and can be submitted for processing to claims@abs125.com.


Activating Your Participant Account


Registration is a two-step process:

  1. After receiving the welcome email, create your username and password to access your participant account (limited access).
  2. Once you receive your debit card, log in again to verify both your account and debit card. This security step activates full account access and allows you to begin using your benefits.

  • Modern mobile app and consumer portal
  • Faster and instant claim processing
  • Same-day reimbursement via Venmo®, PayPal®, or debit card ($1.25)
  • Reimbursement by check, however there is now a $2.00 per transaction fee
  • Free reimbursement options via direct deposit or debit card (if applicable)
  • Tap-to-pay functionality and digital wallet access
