Applications for Spring 2026 are due Friday, March 27, 2026

The Media Institute's core mission is to promote engagement with global media industries by supporting creative media practice, academic scholarship, and public-facing events initiated by the faculty and students at Fairfield University.

Each year, the Institute will fund multiple faculty and student-led initiatives with grants. Successful proposals may aim to create media on a specific platform (e.g. web, social media, film/ TV, podcast, etc.), critically engage with the media industries, or provide experiential learning opportunities.
