Sweet Sendoff: Notes to the Class of 2026
Four years ago, the Class of 2026 arrived on campus as first-year Stags - excited, uncertain, and beginning a journey that would shape who they are today. Many of them received notes through the Student Alumni Association’s Letters From Home (LFH) a program that invites first-year families to send notes of encouragement to their students during their first semester at Fairfield.
Now, as they prepare to graduate this spring, the Student Alumni Association invites you to help bring that experience full circle.
Fairfield undergraduate students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in Sweet Sendoff - a special opportunity to write a note of encouragement, reflection, gratitude, or farewell to their peers/the Class of 2026.
While LFH came from family and friends at home, these messages come from the family our Stags created here at Fairfield who have helped shape their experiences and growth over their past four years.
Personal notes will be distributed to members of the Class of 2026 as part of this meaningful farewell with a bag of sweet treats!
You can submit as many notes as you’d like! Deadline to submit a Note: Monday, April 20.
Your note might include:
- Words of wisdom for life beyond Fairfield
- A reflection on shared memories or milestones
- Gratitude for relationships built along the way
- Encouragement as seniors take their next steps
Thank you for taking the time to write a note to the Class of 2026. Your words will be shared as part of Sweet Sendoff, helping us celebrate and honor our seniors as they prepare for life beyond Fairfield.
Warm regards,
The Student Alumni Association
