Reminders from the DiMenna-Nyselius Library:
- Exhibit Closing - Art by All (faculty, staff, student art exhibition) closes March 31st. Stop by the lower level of the Library to view the two exhibition spaces. A new exhibit will be installed by the end of the week, Homespun Histories, Silken Fantasies, curated by Julie Learson, Costume Director for Theatre Fairfield, in celebration of America250.
- Library Research Prize deadline - April 8th. Undergrad and grad students can win $1,000! fairfield.edu/libprize
- Building Hours- The Library will close at 6pm on April 1st and 2nd. Closed April 3rd - 6th. The 24/7 chatbox on the library homepage (staffed by real people, not AI) is available throughout the break!
Events - March 29 - April 1
- AI Salon: Will AI Replace Human Relationships, 11am-12pm, CAS Innovation Lab.
- The Science Behind Executive Functions, Wed. April 1, 12pm-1pm, Library rm 114.
- Guided Study Session: Pomodoro Method, Sun. 7pm-9:30pm, Library Innovation Lab. Students work on assignments in a distraction-free environment using the Pomodoro Technique, a well-known time management method. We set a timer for four 25 min. working intervals, with breaks and snacks in between.
- Wags & Wellness, Tues. March 31st, 2-4pm, Research Consultation Room.
- Primary Sources Solved, Wed. April 1, 2-3pm, Lobby. Drop by for giveaways and tips on how to find primary sources for assignments.

- Steering Clear of Predatory Journals, Wed. April 8th, 2pm-3pm, Zoom. Register for the link.
- AI Showcase, Wed. April 8th, 3:30pm-5pm
- An AI Salon & Lunch with the head of the University's AI Taskforce! We provide lunch. Everyone will have a chance to talk about how they are using AI and learn about campus AI updates. Thursday April 9th 12:30-1:30pm. Register via the link below.
- There is also an AI Salon for students, also on Thursday April 9th, from 9:30-10:30pm.
- Study Hacks for Every Mind: Neurodiverse Study Lounge, Thurs. April 9th, 3-5pm, CAS Innovation Lab.
