Join librarians and Rob Schnieders, VP of Strategic Initiatives and Head of the University's AI Taskforce, to share your perspective and learn about the work of the AI Taskforce committees. Predatory journals have become an increasing concern for researchers. These deceptive publishers often mimic legitimate journals but lack proper peer review and editorial standards- putting reputations and research at risk. In this session, we'll explore how to recognize and avoid predatory journals, and how to make informed decisions about who to publish with.
