Jesuit Service Month Initiative: Find Book Joy

April 18 – May 2
Dropoff Location: Egan Chapel

As part of Jesuit Service Month, Fairfield’s Alumni Association Board of Directors is partnering with Campus Ministry and Find Book Joy, an organization that increases access to book ownership for children in local Title I schools by providing culturally affirming, inclusive children’s books at no cost. The Alumni Board invites you to join them and their fellow alumni in donating new or like-new children’s books to be included in no-cost book fairs for students in need. Books across genres and at a variety of reading levels are welcome. These books are provided to young readers in kindergarten through sixth grade, with early readers (K–2nd grade) in urgent need. Books that reflect diverse voices, identities, and perspectives are especially encouraged.

There is a designated collection area inside the front entrance of the Egan Chapel and donations will be accepted until May 2. If you have any questions, please contact Alumni Board member John Walker ’75 at stags50th.75@gmail.com.
