“Ephemeral Infrastructures: Archiving and Access in Digital Media”
The Department of Communication is hosting its third annual Faculty Research Spotlight on Wednesday, April 29 at 4:00 pm. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for the campus community to learn about research by one of Fairfield’s own, Dr. Annemarie Iddins. Dr. Iddins is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at Fairfield University. She is a critical media scholar working at the intersection of global communication and media industries, with a particular focus on independent media and political culture. Her work has been published in Media, Culture & Society, the International Journal of Communication, the International Journal of Cultural Studies, and Communication, Culture & Critique. Dr. Iddins has been selected to discuss her research topic titled, “Ephemeral Infrastructures: Archiving and Access in Digital Media.”
