Library programs, week of April 20th
Right to Read Day, Mon. 4/20, 11:00am-12:00pm, Lobby. A national day for readers, advocates, & library lovers. Stop by for info, books to borrow, literary stickers, and buttons.
Take Your Kids to Work Day: Paws to Play, Thurs. 4/23, 11:00am-2:00pm, Innovation Lab. Play a quick game of ‘Memory: Lucas Edition.’ Match images from our Archival collection and learn some fun facts about our beloved mascot! There will also be a therapy dog to meet and pet. This event is for University faculty/staff’s children. Children must be accompanied by guardians and be registered through the Office of Human Resources.

Wags & Wellness: Birthday Paw-ty for Scarlett & Jake, Tues. 4/21, 2pm-4pm, Lawn or Research Consultation Rm. Our therapy dogs turn 6 and 7! Stop by for cake and a study break.

Guided Study Session: Pomodoro Method [LAST ONE], Sun. 4/126, 7pm-9:30pm, Innovation Lab. Get your work done in a distraction-free environment using a well-known time management method. Arrive on time or a few min. prior to the start time. You set a goal, we set a timer (four 25 min. study intervals & 5-10 min. short breaks).

Earth Day Celebration, Fri. 4/24, 12:00pm-1pm, Science Lounge. Explore the health benefits of keeping plants at home and create a planter.
North End Community Garden Volunteer Opportunity, Fri. 4/24, 1:30pm-4:30pm, 1469 Reservoir Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Volunteer at the North End Community Garden. We will pull weeds and prepare the garden for the planting season. Meet us there or limited space available on a van from Bellarmine campus.
