Core Writing AI Institute

Core Writing is pleased to invite faculty to our third annual AI Institute on Thursday, May 14th from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm in DSB 111. Breakfast will be served from 8:30-9:00 and participants will receive a $200 dollar stipend.   

Our in-person professional development workshop will introduce a new programmatic resource: Generative AI and WAC/WID Goals: Strategies for Applicants, a pedagogical resource for WAC/WID instructors and applicants. All faculty are invited to register, especially faculty currently teaching a WAC/WID signature element course, or those planning to apply for WAC/WID designation in the future. We welcome participants from a broad range of GenAI viewpoints and experiences– all are welcome to attend, and participant AI use is optional.
