2026 Biology Student Research Distinction Symposium

You are invited to attend the 2026 Biology Student Research Distinction Symposium on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in NHS 224.

This symposium will showcase the exceptional undergraduate research conducted by Biology students who have earned Research Distinction for their scholarly work. Awardees will present research completed under the mentorship of Biology faculty, reflecting the breadth, rigor, and creativity of student scholarship within the department. The event celebrates not only student achievement, but also the collaborative faculty–student research partnerships that are central to the mission of the Biology Department.

Faculty, students, family members, and members of the university community are warmly encouraged to attend and join us in honoring the dedication and accomplishments of our distinguished student researchers. Refreshments will be served.
