Spring 2020 Curricular Connections Guide is now available online

The Spring 2020 Curricular Connections Guide (CCG) is designed to highlight the connections between arts events and lectures with Fairfield University courses. Featured partners include the Quick Center for the Arts, Theatre Fairfield, and The Fairfield University Art Museum: Bellarmine Hall Galleries and Walsh Art Gallery.

We believe that the arts can play a critical role in inspiring faculty to extend and re-imagine their own intellectual, disciplinary, and interdisciplinary frontiers. Through the CCG, we invite you to imagine how the arts can augment your students’ experiences. There are a number of ways to integrate the arts into your class:
  • Assign performances as enrichment activities and opportunities for student reflections and responses
  • Schedule a class visit or workshop with performing artists or a guided tour with Gallery staff and curators
  • Encourage students to attend one of the panels or pre- and post-performance discussions featured with performances and exhibitions
  • Become a Faculty Liaison and work directly with staff to create additional programming that deepens learning for your students and the larger Fairfield University community
