Block Chain Technology and Its Applications
We discuss the Business potential of Blockchain,
a public ledger to which everyone has access but without a central
authority having control. An enabling technology for
trusted and transparent transactions.

Speaker Biography:
Dr. Leon A. Pintsov is an internationally recognized authority in the information security, computer imaging and logistics information technology. He worked for Pitney Bowes where he served as Chief Scientist and Vice President, International Standards and Advanced Technology before his retirement in 2014.

Dr. Pintsov published a book and over 40 scientific papers. He is inventor of 101 US and 125 International patents in 16 countries and a recipient of the prestigious Elliptic Curve Cryptography Visionary Award in Canada. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of CASE. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Advanced Logistics. He is a founding member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Center for Applied Cryptographic Research at the University of Waterloo (Canada), a member of the Board of Directors of Connecticut Technology Council and MITEF.
