The Japanese tea ceremony (茶道, sadō or chadō, lit. "the way of tea" or 茶の湯, chanoyu) is a Japanese tradition steeped in history. Please join us on Monday, February 10th, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. in Bellarmine Hall’s Diffley Board Room for a special demonstration and to learn about the choreographic ritual of preparing and serving Japanese green tea.

This event is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Gifts of Gold: The Art of Japanese Lacquer Boxes, which is on view in the Bellarmine Hall Galleries from January 17 – May 15, 2020.
