DEADLINE EXTENDED – Innovative Research Symposium 2020

Dear Colleagues:

I send this announcement in the continued hopes that you, your families, and all in your communities, near and far, are faring relatively well at this difficult time.  We are extending the deadline for students to register for the Innovative Research Symposium until Monday, March 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Students are required to register to participate in this event.  They have received information about doing so.  Here is the link for Student Registration:  https://fairfield.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/391361

Please note that any challenges with registration should be directed to Kim Baer, Program Coordinator, at kbaer@fairfield.edu, who will respond as soon as possible.  We appreciate your patience.

The annual Fairfield University 2020 Innovative Research Symposium will be held virtually on Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m.  We are excited to showcase the outstanding innovative research of our students in collaboration with their faculty mentors. Undergraduate and graduate students from across the University will share their research, creative projects, and international experiences with our Fairfield community at this signature academic event.

Thank you for encouraging your students to participate in this exciting opportunity to spotlight their scholarly accomplishments. And, thank you for all the dedication and effort you are putting forward to meet the needs of our students and fellow colleagues at this time. We understand that this virtual format shifts how we will celebrate our scholarly accomplishments this year, though we look forward to the innovative possibilities this presents.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at jboryczka@fairfield.edu or Kim Baer, Program Coordinator, Office of Scholarly Development, at kbaer@fairfield.edu with any questions.

With all very best,

Jocelyn M. Boryczka, PhD
Associate Vice Provost for Scholarly, Creative, and Community Engagement
