Community Engagement and the COVID-19 Crisis

During this challenging time, the Fairfield University Center for Social Impact is committed to supporting our students, faculty, and community partners. Even during a time of social distancing, we are committed to our mission to connect community and campus to create high impact academic opportunities that address local, national, and global challenges and develop individuals committed to creating a more just and equitable world.

In the weeks and months to come, our local and global community partners will need our support more than ever to navigate the COVID-19 crisis and its aftermath. The Center is in continuous contact with our partners to stay updated on both current and long-term ways that Fairfield University can support through community-engaged learning, community-engaged research, and humanitarian action. We have also compiled some resources for students and faculty to stay connected to community-engaged work in a remote learning context. Please use the below links to learn more about current opportunities and resources. These pages will soon be available on our website at fairfield.edu/socialimpact and will be updated regularly as more information and resources become available.
