TITUS Online--Theatre Fairfield moves TITUS ANDRONICUS to the web!

Date: 4-13-2020

Time: 03:00 PM

Location: https://www.theatre-fairfield.org/TitusOnline

Theatre Fairfield's spring production of Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS, slated to open in the Blackbox Theatre on April 20 was, like every other live performance event worldwide, necessarily cancelled. So, instead of opening at the Quick, we're opening TITUS Online on our website: www.theatre-fairfield.org/TitusOnline. We have terrific rehearsal videos, including exciting stage combat (with dual machetes!), fascinating profiles of actors and guest artists and the work they brought to our production, full color renderings of costume and set designs, and deep insights into the history of the play, racism and sexism in Elizabethan England, and Why Titus Now? The Titus company is celebrating its official "opening" via a zoom party on Monday, April 13, at 3:00 PM but the website is open right now for your viewing pleasure! We are continuing to add more information as we create it, so keep re-visiting the site.

For more insights into our Titus, tune into the new "quick sessions" online in May, when I'll be interviewing actors, showing performance clips, and discussing the challenges of mounting Titus in the 21st century.

We want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your enthusiastic and steadfast support of Theatre Fairfield and we look forward to welcoming you back in the fall when Theatre Fairfield will be celebrating its new partnership with the Quick Center. We have an exciting season planned--stay tuned for details!

Stay safe, stay healthy, stay in touch with the arts!

Best regards,
Marti LoMonaco, Director, Titus Andronicus
Co-Producer, Theatre Fairfield
