Fairfield Prep's "Lunch 4 Life" Campaign Providing Meals for Healthcare Workers

Fairfield Prep launches 'Lunch 4 Life'

Support area healthcare and frontline workers during COVID-19 epidemic

The Fairfield Prep Community has raised over $50,0000 to purchase and deliver meals during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many of you, we have been watching the news reports showing doctors, nurses, and medical staff in our very own communities working tirelessly — sometimes in overtime and double shifts — to care for those who are battling the virus. We have also identified tremendous stress on community outreach centers serving the homeless and unemployed.

In keeping with our Jesuit Mission of being Men for Others during this very stressful time, Prep is shepherding an effort to give back to these heroic individuals. In addition to partnering with our food service provider, Vazzy's, several Prep community restaurants have joined our team, including Little PubOld Post Tavern, and Gaetano's. We are serving local hospitals, senior home healthcare facilities, veterans homes, and community outreach facilities. The list keeps growing!

We are asking for your support. Please consider making a gift to our Lunch 4 Life campaign to purchase these meals. Gifts of any amount are appreciated and can be made online here: www.fairfieldprep.org/lunch4life. The campaign will run through April 17. In the spirit of the Easter Season, we are hopeful you will show your support to those who are sacrificing so much.
